DogHauz Graphix is a student project inspired by popular brands of streetwear, such as Zumiez, Spencers, Vans, and Hot Topic. DogHauz is a brand based in and around Los Angeles, California. It has a primary focus on skate culture, with very punk and edgy imagery and aesthetic. DogHauz, much like skate culture as a whole, believes in love and acceptance of marginalized people, and condemns bigotry, discrimination, and intolerance.
The brand’s demographic ranges from teenagers to young adults aged around 15-27 years old. Designs from this brand can be political, although a lot revolve around apolitcal humor. The main idea is that someone wearing a DogHauz shirt or accessory should give the viewer a good idea of what their beliefs are or where they stand, a message they want to communicate visually, or simply display their sense of humor on first glance.
